60% say journeys affected by traffic congestion
Monday, June 06, 2011
A survey undertaken to determine attitudes to housing in Stratford upon Avon has found that most people living in Stratford encounter regular problems with traffic congestion. 60% of respondents to the survey said that they regularly faced problems, compared with 36% who did not.
The survey also revealed that over 70% of people would support a relief road to divert traffic from the town centre. The Stratford Western Relief Road has been mooted for several years, and features in the Warwickshire Local Transport Plan.
